Remember My Song is the fifth studio album by Labi Siffre, released in 1975. It weaves together elements of soul, funk and R&B, showcasing Siffre’s ability to write both infectious grooves and reflective ballads. Co-produced by Big Jim Sullivan and Derek Lawrence, the record features notable contributions from session musicians including Chas & Dave and Brian Bennett of The Shadows. Although the album was not a major commercial success upon release, it has grown in stature over the years. Its influence reached new audiences when the riff from I Got The... was famously sampled by Eminem for My Name Is, drawing attention back to Siffre’s catalogue.
